Who is this for?

Bey & Bess sessions are for 3 groups of biologically born females:

More details about each group are in the links above.

Who is Bey & Bess NOT for?

  • Our sessions are NOT for those who are just bored and looking for something fun to do.

  • Our sessions are NOT for those who are looking to pet their problems instead of solving them.

  • Our sessions are NOT for those who like to gossip and share other people’s business from the group. We have zero tolerance for this!

  • Our sessions are NOT for those who are not looking to grow and better themselves.

Is it free? Payment options?

The cost is $10 per session. Payments can be made online using the payments/pagos button at the bottom of this page. We also take Cashapp or Cash.

How long can I attend sessions?

6 months. We have a waiting list for people eager to join, so we reassess memberships every 6 months to make space when needed. We understand that everyone grows at their own pace. If you still need the group to continue your growth, you're welcome to stay. That's the purpose of the reassessment. If you've gained the tools you need within 6 months, you'll graduate and free up space for others. Once you're a member, you're always a member. We offer support outside of group sessions, so you can stay connected. Our goal is to help you become self-sufficient in your growth and go out and empower others!

How often are we meeting?

All groups meet every other week. This can change around holidays. Once you are a member, you will have the exact dates for every session.

The exact times and dates are not mentioned anywhere on this site. Since some of our members deal with domestic violence, we will only disclose times and dates to approved members.

Where are the meeting locations?

  • Amsterdam, NY

  • Gloversville, NY

  • Schenectady, NY

No. Our sessions are set up for success. Both talk and dance are equal parts of the recipe for success.

If you have a physical disability, you can still participate in the dance portion. We will modify some moves for you. We just ask that you let us know ahead of time so that we can properly prepare for you.

Can I bring my pet or child?

Why only biologically born females?

At Bey & Bess, our intentional focus on specific communities allows us to deliver a deeper level of support and understanding to those we serve. This narrow focus allows us to be more fruitful with what we do. By focusing on our core capabilities and values, we are able to offer more effective and transformative support to the women and teens we serve.

We recognize and respect the unique experiences and needs of the transgender (and the like) community. While our expertise is not centered on these nuanced needs, we acknowledge their importance and are committed to facilitating access to appropriate resources. If you identify with this community and seek assistance, we will gladly connect you with services dedicated to addressing your specific circumstances.

Our commitment remains steadfast: we empower those within our focus and extend our support by guiding individuals towards the help they deserve, ensuring that everyone finds the care they need within a community suited to their experiences.
